Sometimes pets do not act the way that we want them to, despite how much we love them. Certain animals experience anxiety being left alone, being around other animals, during thunderstorms or fireworks displays, or with a change in environment. They can bark tirelessly, cower, shake, hide, mark territory, urinate or defecate in inappropriate places, destroy belongings or even become aggressive towards another pet or person. We understand that this can be extremely upsetting for all parties involved, and we are happy to help work through these issues with behavior modification, positive reinforcement and praise. Referrals to local trainers who share our philosophy, or veterinary behavior specialists are available as well.
